About The Brewer Master

Sean Symons has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality and brewing industry. He completed a BSc at the University of Sydney, a Diploma in Brewing from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling and is currently studying for the Diploma, Master Brewer, and a Masters Degree in Business Technology at the University of New South Wales. He is an accredited beer taster and has been involved in a number of award winning beers in international competitions around the world, working firstly for the Malt Shovel Brewery, and then for Lion Nathan Australia at the Tooheys brewery in Sydney. He also has judged beer in many local and regional competitions.
